Charging: The Easiest Part of the Whole Process

Two charger options, one simple routine.

Of everything covered in this series, charging might be the simplest. In Part 4 of our Quick Start series, Preston walks through both charger options and the (very short) process to get your robot back to full power.

Two charger options:

  • Standard charger: empty to full in 30 minutes
  • Supercharger upgrade: empty to full in 15 minutes (requires a 240V plug, or two separate 110V outlets on different circuits, to meet the power draw)

How to charge:

  1. Make sure the robot is off.
  2. Flip open the charge port cover on the robot.
  3. Plug the charger into the charge port.
  4. Turn the robot on, charging begins automatically.
  5. Check the indicator lights on the back of the charger to see what stage of charging it’s at.

Each charger has a 9 ft lead, so you can leave it outside the bin at a safe distance and still reach the robot to plug in, no extra trips or juggling required.

No one should have to work inside a grain bin.

One robot. One operator, safely outside the silo.
